We’ve hit that time of year…The Holidays.  They come screaming at us full force.  Halloween is over and we’re full bore into Christmas.  But what happened to holiday called Thanksgiving?  That poor little holiday.  So overlooked but so very important.  Thanksgiving is a time for, well, giving thanks.  For gratitude.  For taking at least a few minutes to reflect on the good in our lives.  I know I have been very blessed.  And I need to tell God that more often.  I tend to go to Him in times of need but I should also go to Him in times of joy, of gratitude, to thank him for the many blessings in my life.  Sure, some days it’s hard to find the joy.  It’s there if I just look harder.  And I’m not saying we should be thankful only on this one day.  It’s every day.  But Thanksgiving is that reminder I need.  That we all need.

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving; and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name".
